PONENCIA. Sensors Integration and Android Application In The Agriculture.

RESEÑA. On-the-go soil sensors are becoming very popular in agriculture in order to know the status of soils in real time. This information is useful to develop an optimum soil management. Data obtained are quite important for the farmer, however, these data are normally presented in an LCD Display, which with just few times can be interact. The aim of this project is to advice farmers about the processes that should be conducted in different land locations. In order to improve the soil quality, we have developed an intuitive application for Android where the data obtained from humidity, temperature, and pH sensors can be viewed and stored including the location from each acquisition.
The communication was made through a Wi-Fi connection. The application also advices the farmer about the best types of crops that can be cultivated due the current conditions on the soil.

Keywords. Agriculture, Android, sensors, soil, wi-fi.
